Consisting of a 17" integrated LCD monitor, touch pad and a keyboard, the TRIPP LITE 16-PORT NETDIRECTOR CONS KVM SWITCH W/ also features an IP-based connectivity which enables one remote and one local operator to simultaneously access any computer directly connected to the console. And since this KVM Switch utilizes TCP/IP for networking procedures, any computer on the WAN, LAN or Internet can access it literally anywhere in the world.

The B020-016-17-IP console KVM switch with built-in IP access allows secure access to multiple computers from a single KVM (keyboard, monitor and mouse) console. A single B020-016-17-IP can control up to 16 connected computers. It consists of an integrated 17" LCD monitor, keyboard and touch pad in a 1U rack mountable, retractable sliding housing.

The LCD and keyboard/touch pad modules slide independently of each other. To maximize space, the keyboard/touch pad module slides back to "hide away" when not in use, while the thin profile LCD monitor rotates back flush against the rack allowing convenient monitoring of computer activity.

The B020-016-17-IP features IP-based connectivity that allows one local operator and one remote operator to simultaneously monitor and access the computers attached to the console. Because it uses TCP/IP for its communications protocol, the B020-016-17-IP can be accessed from any computer on the LAN, WAN or Internet whether that computer is located down the hall, down the street, or halfway around the world.
